The APHSA National Human Services Summit provides a dynamic and interactive look into the latest research shaping the future of human services.
​
APHSA advances the well-being of all people by influencing modern approaches to sound policy, building the capacity of public agencies to enable healthy families and communities, and connecting leaders to accelerate learning and generate practical solutions together. The goal of this conference is to foster knowledge-building on emerging national policy issues affecting state, county, and city agencies delivering human services in our communities. At the Summit, we seek to highlight and showcase innovative practices and models from state and local jurisdictions, with a special focus on individuals with lived experience and leveraging community and human-centered design strategies and successes; process innovations and agile technology solutions; and strategies that center equity, inclusivity, and belonging in all the work of the human services sector.
The Medicaid Enterprise Systems Community is a national community for state, federal and private sector individuals to exchange ideas related to Medicaid systems and health policy affected by those systems. Each year, it culminates in the Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference. Both Community and Conference are organized by the New England States Consortium Systems Organization (NESCSO).
The Maryland Association of Counties (MACo) is the non-profit, non-partisan voice of all 24 Maryland counties promoting effective, efficient government through advocacy, education, and collaboration. The Association’s membership consists of county elected officials and representatives from Maryland’s 23 counties and Baltimore City. The conference hosts state agency briefings, organization meetings, and regional county meetings as well as Maryland Association of Counties (MACo) committee meetings
The IT Solutions Management for Human Services (ISM) Education Conference & Expo is where technology leaders from state, county, and federal human services agencies join industry professionals to learn about the latest technology trends. This annual event is produced by the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) and hosted by its affinity group, the IT Solutions Management for Human Services (ISM). Its focus is on improving public human service outcomes through technology and innovation.
